'Leadership Potter County'

Applications continue to be accepted for "Leadership Potter County."

It's a comprehensive leadership development program open to public officials, business people and other citizens who want to make a difference in their community or develop their leadership.

The year-long program will also address issues facing local communities, examine organizations and services that are integral to their operation, and look at the trends that will impact the future.

Tuition is $750. If three or more individuals from one organization register, the tuition is reduced to $500. Scholarships and payment options are available for those demonstrating need.

Courses will be held one Friday per month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Application deadline is Jan. 14.

Program is sponsored by the Potter County Education Council and Penn State Cooperative Extension in partnership with business and community organizations. Sponsorships and donations are welcome. More information is available by calling Council at 274-4877 or 435-9490.
