Furbearer seasons beginning

Trapping season for coyotes, foxes, raccoons, opossums, skunks and weasels, continues through Feb. 17. Minks and muskrats can be trapped until Jan. 6; beavers, Dec. 26 to March 31.

Raccoon hunting season continues through Feb. 16. There is an open season on skunks, possums and weasels that runs from July 1 to June 30, except for Sundays.

Red and gray fox hunting season runs through Feb. 16, including Sundays. Coyotes have a year-'round season and can be hunted on Sundays, too.

Pennsylvania also has bobcat hunting and trapping seasons for the 1,010 individuals who were selected by drawing. That season continues through Feb. 17.
