It didn't take Cameron County's boys long to shake their "football legs" and kick into basketball gear.
The Red Raiders played solid defense and left visiting Brockway in the dust Thursday night to square their season's record at 1-1 with a 73-32 win.
Charlie Holjencin dished out 10 assists and scored 14 points.
Jordan Crane, who just committed to St. Bonaventure University as a baseball player, led all scorers with 20. Daniel Sullivan added 12 points.
Red Raiders were sluggish in their season debut, dropping a
62-52 decision at Johnsonburg.
Sullivan and Crane scored 13 points apiece, while Jarek Holjencin sank a pair of three-pointers for the Raiders. Johnsonburg 's Seth Streich played a physical game inside to tally 24 points.
Cameron County trailed 40- 38 entering the fourth quarter, but couldn't overtake the hosts. Coach John Barnhart's Raiders head to Punxsutawney on Wednesday and host Galeton next Saturday.
