Santa, firemen to visit Austin children December 21

On Friday, Santa Claus will join the Austin Volunteer Fire Department in distributing gifts to the children of Austin and Costello.

Children from Wharton and Keating Summit may come to the firehall or to a friend or relative's home in Austin to receive their gift. The event starts at 5:30 pm.

Residents are advised to leave their porch lights on so the volunteers will be able to identify recipients.

Parents are asked to listen for the fire engine and come outside to receive their children's gifts.
