Colf new IU9 director Seneca Highlands IU9 Educational Services will have a new executive director in January. Mary K. Colf has been well-known in area education circles for more than three decades. She'll succeed long-time director Dan Wetzel, who is retiring in January after 15 years of heading the intermediate unit. Colf's initial salary for her four-year contract will be $104,500. She served as an elementary teacher in the Otto-Eldred School District and has served IU9 as director of curriculum services, supervisor of the gifted program, behavior consultant and in other capacities. IU9 provides special education, curriculum, instructional media, vocational-technical and management services for school districts in Potter, Cameron, McKean and Elk counties. |
