Edward Coyle Foster Jr.
FEBRUARY. 1, 1919 - DECEMBER 7, 2007

Edward Coyle Foster Jr., 88, of Coudersport, formerly of Emporium and Pottstown, died Friday (Dec. 7, 2007) at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport.

Born Feb. 1, 1919 in Emporium, he was the son of Edward and Lena (Coyle) Foster.

Mr. Foster graduated from Emporium High School, where he played football and basketball. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the U. S. Navy. He owned and operated Pottstown Paper and Supply Co. and was known as "The Paper Man" in Pottstown.

While living in Pottstown he was a member of the Charles B. Yerger American Legion Post #471, and a long-time member of the Elks No. 814, and the Gilbertsville Fire Company.

Surviving are eight nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Ellen Howard, Margaret Regelman, and Mary Wheaton.

There will be no viewing or services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Highland Memorial Park in Pottstown. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport.
