Sinnemahoning sportsmen improving habitat
      Members of the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen's Club plan to do their part for wildlife habitat in early 2008. Club members will be setting dates for pruning of fruit trees in several sections of Cameron and Elk counties. "Pruning can be very beneficial for wildlife," said club spokesman Ray Savel.

Lookout for CWD still on
      This year's deer seasons have seen the Pa. Game Commission continuing its lookout for the potentially devastating chronic wasting disease (CWD). Game officials have joined veterinarians and laboratory technicians in sampling thousands of deer taken by hunters. About 4,250 were checked last year.
