Lands lead role in 'Damn Yankees'

Lauren Geiser of Coudersport, a freshman at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, won the female lead role for the production "Damn Yankees."

The daughter of Lynn and Lynne Dee Geiser, she is a 2007 graduate of Coudersport High School. Geiser is a political science and philosophy major with a theater minor.

She has appeared in local community and high school musicals and was a member of the Pennsylvania All-State Choir. She has also studied under music instructor Larry Herbstritt of Coudersport.
