Cameron County's Ellenberger honored

Cameron County High School senior Shawn Ellenberger has been named PIAA District 9 Offensive Lineman of the Year for his work as lineman for this year's Red Raiders varsity football team.

Ellenberger, a six-foot-three, 270-lb. guard, helped the Raiders post a District 9 best 278 yards per game rushing and a second-best 372 yards per game in total offense.

Ellenberger was a dominating force on an offensive line that helped pave the way to an 11-2 record, including an Allegheny Mountain League North Division title.
