"Charlie's Pride," Charles Cole Memorial Hospital Relay For Life team has been busy with fundraising activities for the annual Relay For Life, to be held on June 27 and 28. Emergency responders were summoned last Saturday to a one-vehicle accident near GKN Sinter Metals Plant #1, west of Emporium. John Waid, of Port Allegany, lost control of his car when navigating a curve on Route 120. His car veered into the loading dock area, struck a fence and flipped on its side. Emporium Volunteer Fire Department used a truck to stabilize the car. Cameron County Ambulance crews lifted Waid out. He was taken to the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport. More ...
