Austin Volunteer Fire Department Chief Darren Van- Why (right) and firefighters Joe Burgett man the controls as the departrment filled its new tanker truck in preparation for a test run earlier this week. The 2008 International, which cost over $200,000 was delivered Wednesday evening. Funds for the truck were realized through a large federal grant, and close to $20,000 in local matching funds.
