Favorable weather conditions have resulted in an excellent turnout for this year's Potter County Fair, which concludes today (Saturday) with the Old-Timers' Horse Show at 10 am, followed by discounts on carnival rides all afternoon, live country music from 6 to 10 and a fireworks finale to follow. Then comes the Cameron County Fair, which moves into full swing on Monday evening. Both of the "county" fairs are truly "country" fairs, maintaining old-time traditions of free admission, free parking and free entertainment. Each has a heavy emphasis on agriculture and rural living, complemented by fun activities for children. Travis Moshier captured this picture perfect shot at the Potter County fair last week.
