Cameron County jobless rate highest in PA More than one in six ablebodied adults in Cameron County are actively looking for work and unable to find any. Jobless figures issued this week by the Pa. Demolition of the old NAPA building in Emporium is nearly complete. Repairing the building was not economically feasible, according to owner Dave Stewart. Fire struck the Fourth Street building in December. Although it was destroyed, townspeople marveled over the work of voluntary firefighters from Emporium and surrounding communities to save the adjacent Midtowne Sports Bar and Grill and its upstairs apartments during a lengthy battle in frigid conditions. Hundreds of Coudersport area men and women have served their nation as members of the military. Now, their service is recognized in a very public way.
