After one and one-half years of study and by majority vote, the Potter County Planning Commission passed a wind facility ordinance and forwarded it to the Potter County Commissioners for fine-tuning and adoption. More ... To the editor: We need to eliminate property taxes in Pennsylvania. Even the feds don't tax real estate, except after you die. The state mandates public education. Therefore, the state should be the source of all funding. Increase the state income and sales taxes so everyone pays more equitably. More ...
