Pennsylvania's mentored youth hunting program is gaining popularity. The 2008 season began on July 1 with youth under the age of 12 permitted to hunt groundhogs. Now in its third year, the season drew 50,851 adult hunters mentoring 58,377 youth in 2007. More ... Fall webworms, unsightly by relatively harmless, have spun their silky webs in thousands of area trees. Despite their high visibility, the species do little damage.
