RAIDERS HOSTING FALCONS FOR HOMECOMING
HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL
      A football showdown next Friday night will highlight the annual homecoming weekend at Cameron County High School. Coudersport (2-1) is coming to Emporium to battle a red-hot Raider team that carried a 3-0 record into Friday night's big challenge at Curwensville. The Golden Tide (3-0) was coming off a win over Coudersport last weekend.

FALCONS HOPE TO REGROUP AFTER TOUGH LOSS
      Last week's 28-21 loss to Curwensville gave the Coudersport Falcons some added resolve heading into Friday night's game at Ridgway. Coach Brendan Hathaway's squad, at 2-1, is still very much in the hunt for the Allegheny Mountain League championship and a berth in the PIAA District 9 playoffs later this season.

STORM WINS LEAGUE SHOWDOWN
      Cameron County Storm improved to 5-0 in the Central Pa. Youth Football League with a 14-8 win over Johnsonburg Saturday in a battle of the undefeated. A fumble recovery by Cameron Horning early in the first quarter set up Tucker Britton's touchdown run and extra point for an early 7-0 lead.

COUDERSPORT, O-E UNBEATEN IN VOLLEYBALL
      Coudersport and Otto-Eldred appear to be the teams to beat in the Northern Tier High School Volleyball League, but Austin is just one game back. On Monday night, Coudersport swept Cameron County 3-0, while Otto-Eldred did the same to Smethport, leaving both the Falcons and Terrors undefeated in the early season.

     Sophomore Alex Renn has been pulling doubleduty this season as a member of the Coudersport High School soccer team and a long-kicking specialist with the varsity football team. RAIDER BOYS LOSE FIRST GOLF MATCH
      A talented Bradford High School team handed Cameron County its first boys' golf loss Tuesday at the Emporium Country Club. Medalist Josh Stauffer led the Owls with a medal round of 38 for 10 points in the visitors' 34-21 win, leaving Cameron County with a 9-1 record.

RAIDER GIRLS LOSE TO BRADFORD
      Cameron County fell to visiting Bradford in a girls' high school golf match Monday, 37-17. Bre Dunsmore led the Red Raiders with eight points as she shot a round of 52, thirdbest in the field. The Owls' Morgan Dunkle was medalist with a 49.

GATOR RUNNERS EDGE FALCONS
      One slender point spelled defeat for the boys' cross country team at Coudersport High School Tuesday when Port Allegany came to town. Led by Justin Lewis (19:17), the Gators scored a 28-29 victory. Falcon David DuPont (20:23) and Steve Forney (20:42) finished third and fourth, respectively. Also in the top seven were Gage Wright and Michael Hogan.
