WILD' CHRISTMAS PLANS IN WORKS

Cameron County Chamber of Commerce has announced plans for this year's Christmas in the Wilds, set for Dec. 13-14.

Sponsors are looking for groups and businesses interested in participating. The weekend will begin with Santa's Breakfast, hosted by the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. A parade steps off at noon from the former Fourth Street School and concludes at the Cameron County High School parking lot.

Several businesses are planning special events, such as cookie decorating, and will be open for longer hours on Saturday.

Antique Seekers will host a house tour with an optional buffet on Sunday. Cameron County Chamber of Commerce and Artisan Center will coordinate the events and include them in a brochure that will be available in November.
