'Judy Bolton Days' underway

Friends of the Judy Bolton book series are in Potter County this weekend.

This year the group is focusing on the ninth book in the series, The Mysterious Half Cat, published in 1936.

A tour visiting various Potter County sites that were used as the basis for the Judy Bolton stories will leave from the Westgate Inn at 9 am Saturday and return to Coudersport at about 4 pm. Sites to be visited include Farringdon Pett Mansion, Parker Tomb, Sizerville Cemetery, Grandma Andrew's, Austin School, Austin Dam, author Margaret Sutton's childhood home, and her Aunt Gladys' home, as well as the Inez Cemetery, where the author is buried.
