POTTER COUNTY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY REORGANIZES Potter County Habitat for Humanity charted a course for 2009 during a recent reorganizational meeting. Serving as officers will be Scott Ogden, president; Mitch DeLong, vice president; Janine Morley, treasurer; and Charlotte Blain, secretary. Elected to the board of directors were Jim Blain, Sheila Easton, Rev. Evon McJunkin. Pam Rees, Rod Rees, Tami Sevinsky, Lee Silverstrim, Carol Spaulding, Dan and Laurie Barr-Tomkinson, Bryan Welsh and Theresa Welsh Accomplishments of 2008 were reviewed, including completion of a new house on Hill Street in Coudersport and groundwork for a house on a donated lot in the village of Roulette. Fund-raising is planned for the coming months, including a cookbook promotion, and construction of a house in Galeton is among the goals for 2009. Second annual Volunteer Dinner will be held in May and the annual Golf Tournament is set for June. Habitat for Humanity is seeking a storefront or small warehouse space in Coudersport in which to store building materials.
