Musicians at Coudersport Area Jr.-Sr. High School demonstrated their skills during a Christmas concert. Eighth-graders have been learning basic acoustic guitar techniques. They performed under the direction of Patty Symans. Also shown are some of the middle school chorus members who presented a multi-cultural show. Senior high choir members also performed, as did instrumentalists directed by Brian Gresh. A low brass ensemble comprised of Emily Nordquist, Janel Weber, Liz Haskin, Brandon Welsh and Steve Ouellette offered two selections. After the concert, a talented high school jazz band entertained during an ice cream social, which was a fund-raiser for the school music department.
