Isaiah Lucas

Isaiah Michael Lucas, son of Norman and Christine Lanphere Lucas of Emporium, died at birth Friday (Dec. 28, 2007) at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service was held at Portage Township Cemetery. The Rev. Rock

Pifer officiated.

Elwin D. Bliss

Elwin Bliss, 84, former Mayor of Driftwood, died Friday (Dec. 28, 2007).

He had been living in the Guy & Mary Felt Manor and had resided in Driftwood before that.

Funeral Services were held Dec. 30. The Reverend Dwight Simpson officiated. Burial was held at the Gilmore Cemetery.

Dorothy M. Stroup

Dorothy M. Stroup, 88, of Grove House, West Creek Road, Emporium, formerly of 97 West 7th St., Emporium died Thursday (Dec. 27, 2007) at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church in Emporium. Father Paul S. Siebert officiated. Burial was in St. Mark Catholic Cemetery. Memorial can be made to the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department.

James Raffaele

James F. "Bo" Raffaele, 66, of 193 Carson Street, Emporium, died Friday (Dec. 28, 2007) at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys. A memorial sevice was held January 1. Father Paul S. Siebert officiated. Memorials can be made to the Cameron County Ambulance Service.
