This black and white photograph hardly does these bright yellow flowers any justice. These three rogue plants were popping up through a flower garden in Emporium last week. The near-zero temperatures of the last couple days have most certainly ended this late bloomer's winter run, but it held out well. And to think, it's a pansy!
