Mildred I. Kinsler

Mildred I. Kinsler, 93, of East Fifth Street, Emporium, died Tuesday (Jan. 15, 2008), in Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys.
Born December 15, 1914 in Port Allegany, she was the daughter of Elmer and Grace Halderman Seibring.
On May 9, 1931 in Allegany, NY she married John E. Kinsler who died April 3, 1985.
A lifelong resident
of Emporium, Mrs.
Kinsler attended Emporium High School and was employed as Credit Manager by the Sears store in Emporium for several years. She was also an Amway distributor for 20 years and was employed by the Big "G" Department Store in Emporium for many years.
She was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Emporium and was a member and past president of St. Hilda's Guild.
She is survived by: two sons, J. Timothy (Janice) Kinsler of Emporium and James D. (Beverly) Kinsler of Allegany, NY; one daughter, Mrs. William (Margaret) Grimone of Emporium; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; one niece and two nephews.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kinsler was predeceased by one daughter, Patricia Pride, in 2000.
Friends were received Thursday, January 17, from 4 until 9 p.m. in the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium.
Funeral and Committal Services were held Friday at 11 am in Emmanuel Episcopal Church with the Rev. Matt Ryan, rector, officiating.
Burial was in Newton Cemetery, Emporium. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Cameron County Ambulance Service.
