Vaughn Lewis and Kathryn Thompson of Emporium are parents of a daughter born Jan. 12, 2008 at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.

Jessica Kathryn Lewis weighed eight pounds, 11.7 ounces. She joins a brother, Taylor Vaughn Lewis, who is 14 months old.

Maternal grandparents are Susan Thompson and David Thompson, both of Emporium. Paternal grandmother is Arlene Walker of Emporium. Brodie Artman

A son, Brodie Michael Artman, was born to Hillary Skillman and Chris Artman of Emporium on Jan. 13, 2008 at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.

He weighed six pounds, 15.8 ounces and joins a sister, Laila Artman, who is two.

Maternal grandparents are Lyman and Marylou Skillman of Emporium and Tina and Jim Schlau of Buffalo, N.Y. Paternal grandparents are Kim and Sam Artman of Emporium.

Great grandparents are Gloria and Paul Miller of Olean, N.Y., Daleen and Charles Sinnamond of East Fork and Robert and Joy Artman of Apollo.
