CPR, first aid course slated

A CPR/AED first aid course will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 8 am to 4 pm at the Emporium Firehall.

This free course provides individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for victims until advanced medical personnel arrive. It is open to the public.

Sponsors are the Cameron County Office of Emergency Services, Cameron County LEPC and the Elk & Cameron County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
