Coudersport seeking perfection
Rare unbeaten season within reach for Falcon boys
      As each game passes, this year's Coudersport High School boys' basketball team moves closer to achieving what only three of the school's previous squads have done: emerge undefeated in the regular season. Coach Chris Fink, who vows that this is his last season, seems destined to go out a winner.

      Coudersport has the distinction of topping the PIAA District 9 high school basketball ranking in both the boys' and girls' divisions. Rankings are determined by the staff of an internet-based sports information service, D9Sports.com, and are not affiliated with the PIAA.

Saline, Becker lead JO wrestlers
      Cameron County's Junior Olympic wrestlers came home from last weekend's tournament in St. Marys with a pair of first places and two seconds. Brandon Saline was first at 75 pounds for ages 9-10, while Zach Becker placed first at 65 pounds for 7-8.

Raiders honored at banquet
      Players, parents, coaches and fans recently relived one of the most successful football seasons in Cameron County High School history. Former varsity football coach John Fragale was the guest speaker at the annual Red Raiders Football Awards Banquet, held at the Vets Club in Emporium.
