D-9 basketball rankings

Coudersport has the distinction of topping the PIAA District 9 high school basketball ranking in both the boys' and girls' divisions.

Rankings are determined by the staff of an internet-based sports information service, D9Sports.com, and are not affiliated with the PIAA.

In the boys' division, topranked teams entering the week were as follows (in order): Coudersport 17-0, Du- Bois CC 15-1, Elk County Catholic 15-2, Bradford 11-5, Clearfield 13-4, Keystone 14- 3, Rocky Grove 15-1, Cam- eron County 11-3, Union 11- 4, Kane 10-6. Of those teams, Coudersport, DuBois CC, Elk CC, Keystone, Rocky Grove, Cameron County and Union are all Class A.

Girls' teams were ranked as follows: Coudersport 14-2, Elk County Catholic 14-1, St. Marys Public 16-1, Keystone 15-2, Cranberry 13-4, West Forest 12-3, Clarion 10-7, Union 11-5, Karns City 9-8, Brookville 8-8.

Class A teams in that field include Coudersport, ECC, Keystone, Clarion and Union.
