Skate Park gets $10K boost

The Emporium Skate Park Committee has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Dept. of Community and Economic Development's Single Application Program.

The skate park site under consideration is located on property near the Cameron County Recreation Center. More volunteers are needed for the project. Anyone interested in helping or serving on the committee is urged to contact Susie Gribble, Pat Garrigan or Annie Hnath.

The appointed officers are as follows: Susie Gribble, president; Pat Garrigan, vice president; Annie Hnath, secretary/ treasurer.
