Hamilton syrup wins Premier Exhibitor Award

Hamilton's Maple Products of Potter County earned the coveted Premier Exhibitor Award at this year's Pennsylvania Farm Show.

Larry and Phyllis Hamilton (shown) of Ulysses, owners, also won the award in 2002 and 1998. Hamilton's has also won Best of Show in 2006 and 1998.

Larry Hamilton is a fifthgeneration maple syrup producer. He is president of the Pennsylvania Maple Producers' Council.

Another Potter County syrup producer, Charles Nelson of Genesee, earned four firstplace awards in individual maple product categories.
