      Cameron County expects to make some noise in next month's PIAA District 9 Class A boys' basketball playoffs and could earn a berth in the 32-team state tournament. Senior Jordan Crane recently became the seventh player in school history to hit the 1,000-point milestone in career scoring.

      There was only about 20 minutes of mat time as Coudersport's varsity wrestlers returned from their long layoff with a 52-21 loss at Johnsonburg Wednesday night. The Falcons led 21-12 before the hosts swept the final seven bouts, four of them by forfeit.
