Mrs. Wilson's third-graders at Woodland Elementary School have been learning about the advantages of adopting homeless dogs. For the last several weeks, they have donated items to the Elk County Humane Society to help them care for the animals there. On Monday, Wilson adopted Legend and brought her to class to meet the students. Legend was a big hit, especially with Mackenzie Tressler who took the opportunity to hug a 'Legend.' James Moate photo
