One of Coudersport's most revered citizens was caught by surprise Friday night at the boys' basketball game. Lewis Schaub was recognized for 65 years of community service and faithful support of high school athletics. A retired educator, administrator, coach and athletic director, Schaub stays in touch with the local athletic community. For many years, he operated youth baseball programs and was involved in other community projects. He was presented with a basketball signed by members of the undefeated 2007-08 Coudersport boys' basketball team.
