'Look good, feel better' Monday

Women who are undergoing cancer treatment or have received treatment such as surgery, radiation or chemotherapy are encouraged to attend the American Cancer Society "Look Good, Feel Better" program on Monday at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.

The national public service program was created from the concept that improved self-esteem will help a cancer victim approach her disease and treatment with greater confidence.

Trained cosmetology professionals will be available to help with make-up application, dry skin, discolored nails, choice and care of a wig, scarves, turbans and hats. Additional information is available toll-free at 1-888-227- 5445, option 3.
