Linda M. Caldwell Linda M. Caldwell, 68, of 4728 Sizerville Rd., Emporium, died at her residence Wednesday (Feb. 6, 2008). She was born April 17, 1939 in Ridgway, a daughter of the late Bernard and Catherine Songer Bauer. On October 17, 1959 in St. Mark Catholic Church, she married Joseph Caldwell, who survives. Mrs. Caldwell graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1957. She was a member of the St. Mark Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed playing her piano. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Joel Caldwell (June) and Tom Caldwell (Carol), both of Emporium; three daughters Veronica Moate (Richard) of Emporium, Elaine (Ed) Auslander, of Cary, NC, Joyce (Firas) Shaban, of Amman, Jordan; 25 grandchildren; two sisters Helen Newton andMarilyn Bauer, both of Emporium and brother Bernard Bauer, of Emporium. She was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Catherine Songer Bauer and a brother James Bauer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St.. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, today (Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008) at 10:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department, 421 N. Broad St.., Emporium, PA 15834 or to the Community Nurses Inc., Hospice Program, 757 Johnsonburg Rd., Suite 200, St.. Marys, PA 15857. |
