Tommy Gribble (left) strummed a few chords while his grandmother and organizer Mary McLean read a ballad behind the scenes at last weekend's Parade of Stars. The Singing Dutchmen (below) opened up the event by singing the National Anthem and a few other well-known lyrical pieces. Unlike the others in attendance, the Dutchmen were not competing for prizes but rather just doing what they love to do; sing. Each year, proceeds from the Parade of Stars fund a college scholarship given to a local graduate by the Cameron County Fair Association.
