Fine Arts Council plans April concert

Cornpone Sally, an acoustic group with tight vocal harmony, will open for the headliners, the Hillbilly Gypsies, on April 11 in Coudersport.
National recording artists "Hillbilly Gypsies" will be performing at the Coudersport High School Auditorium on Friday, April 11.

Based in Morgantown, W. Va., the Gypsies play their own homegrown style of Appalachian old-time music, mixed with a hard-driving bluegrass sound.

Opening at 7:30 pm will be Cornpone Sally, a four-member acoustic group from Tioga County featuring swingy instrumentals and tight harmony vocals.

The program is sponsored by Potter County Fine Arts Council and the Pa. Council on the Arts. Tickets are available at the Potter County Education Council, Olga's Gift Boutique and the Second Street Roost in Coudersport.
