Last Friday, Bob Spaeth was the musical guest at the Aroma Bakery and Café in Emporium. Playing classical songs of worship and other upbeat classics, Spaeth was not only playing out of the goodness of his heart, but he was soliciting donations for a good cause. In between songs, Spaeth told listeners about a charity that he was supporting involving rural development overseas. He told the audience that he was trying to raise money to buy chickens for Phillipine families. Spaeth informed listeners that for every $20 he raised, he could purchase one chicken.
