Cameron County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tina Lorson was the guest speaker during the Emporium Rotary Club's weekly meeting Tuesday. Lorson, who was appointed to the position last month, said that the recently-reorganized Chamber is 'moving forward' and looking at several options to promote the community. 'Emporium and Cameron County have so much to offer,' said Lorson. 'One of the things we are looking at is the number of people that leave the community to purchase goods and services. We're trying to see if we can bring some of those things to the area.' That's Rotarian Blair Lundberg seated next to Lorson.
