ASSAULT CASE HEADED TO COURT

A not guilty plea has been entered on behalf of Kenneth R. Mack, the Ulysses man charged with raping two mentally disabled women last year at his home.

Mack, 60, waived formal arraignment in the Potter County Court of Common Pleas.

Pre-trial conferences will be held in April before Judge John B. Leete.

Mack was charged by state police at Denton Hill with six felony counts each of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and aggravated indecent assault.

He is accused of having sexual relations with two women, ages 58 and 22, while they were staying at the Mack residence last summer.

According to court documents, Mack has admitted having consensual sex with the women.
