Daffodil Days starts March 25

Cameron County Unit of the American Cancer Society will be taking orders soon on bunches of daffodils.

Daffodil Days has been set for March 25 through 29. Bunches of 10 flowers with a vase are $8, while a Boyd's stuffed bear and daffodils are $25.

Flowers will be sold at Aroma Café and Olivett's ShurSave Food Mart in Emporium.

Funds raised by the ACS are used for research, education, advocacy and patient services.

Daffodil Days is in its 35th year nationally. The flowers symbolize a renewed spirit for those affected by cancer.

"It is amazing how much support this community has given to Daffodil Days over the past years," Grimone said.
