Cleveland may have its Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, but Coudersport also has a proud musical tradition. Four former All-State performers returned to the school recently to recognize the most recent addition to their exclusive club, Ben Bradley (far left) from the Class of 2008. Few music students from rural schools progress all the way through district and regional competition to a Pa. Music Educators Assn. state music festival. Coudersport Music Boosters are recognizing the school's state qualifiers with plaques adorning the wall leading to the music rooms. On hand to welcome Bradley to the club during a recent dedication ceremony were, from left: Bob Chitester, State Choir, 1953 and 1955, tenor; Jon Neff, State Band, 2003, alto sax; Fred Rudolph, State Band, 1954 and 1955, clarinet; and Doug Ulkins, State Choir, 1974, tenor. Ben Bradley, an alto sax player, attended State Band last year and has been chosen to return later this year.
