Journey of the Cross on Good Friday

Christ's walk to Calvary will be re-created during a Good Friday tradition in downtown Emporium.

The fifth annual Journey of the Cross starts at noon at the First Presbyterian Church. Procession continues to the St. Marks Catholic Church, and moves to the First United Methodist Church, Abundant Life Tabernacle, Cameron County Christian Center and Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

The event concludes with refreshments at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on Broad Street.

ATA bus will provide transportation for those unable to walk to the churches.
