11 Cameron Co. wrestlers advance

Eleven young wrestlers from Cameron County are heading to the next level of competition this weekend in Brookville after their strong showing in the Junior Olympic Section 4 Tournament held Saturday in Smethport.

Qualifying for the Pa. Area 5 Meet were seven weight class champions and four runnersup.

Winners were Zach Becker (65 lbs.) and Adam Shaffer (70), age 8 and under; Brandon Saline (75), 9-10; Taylor Saline (105) and Devin Mason (135), 11-12; Nick Stuckey (147) and Aaron Burnside (187), 13-14.

Runners-up were: Paul Etchepare (65) and Brian Becker (95), 11-12; Chase Kamats (117) and Devin Nellis (124), 13-14.
