      Charles Cole Memorial Hospital has awarded two memorial nursing scholarships for the 2007 scholarship year. Ashley Kio of Austin is the recipient of the Brenda A. Ross Memorial Nursing Scholarship.

      Masonic Council of the Coudersport Consistory is holding a fund-raiser to support Potter County Special Olympics. Tickets are on sale for $5.00 each. Prizes to be awarded on April 30, including $1,000 in cash and gift certificates from Jubilee Foods in Coudersport or Foodland in Galeton.
