Historical Society boost

Artifacts held by the Cameron County Historical Society will be preserved with help from the "Connecting to Collections Bookshelf," a core set of conservation books, DVDs, and online resources donated by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).

IMLS is the primary source of federal funding of the nation's museums and libraries. This collection will help the society preserve the records at the Little Museum in Sterling Run and will be especially helpful for the Cameron County History Center, a research center in Emporium that will be open to the public.
