'Hillbilly Gypsies' to perform April 11

Tickets remain on sale for the April 11 appearance by the national recording artists, "Hillbilly Gypsies," at the Coudersport High School Auditorium.

Based in Morgantown, W. Va., the Gypsies play their own homegrown style of Appalachian old-time music, mixed with a hard-driving bluegrass sound.

Opening at 7:30 pm will be Cornpone Sally, a four-member acoustic group from Tioga County featuring swingy instrumentals and tight harmony vocals.

The program is sponsored by Potter County Fine Arts Council and the Pa. Council on the Arts. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Potter County Education Council office, Olga's Gift Boutique and the Second Street Roost in Coudersport
