Grace speaks at 'Wilds' session

County commissioners and other leaders in the 12-county "Pennsylvania Wilds" region who took office in January attended a recent educational session in St. Marys, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Wilds Planning Team.

Partnering with the sponsors were the Pennsylvania Wilds Tourism Marketing Corporation, Pa. Lumber Heritage and Pa. Route 6 organizations. More than 50 people attended including 28 county commissioners, Rep. Kathy Rapp and legislative staff representing Sen. Rodger Madigan and Rep. Dan Surra.

Featured speaker was Dr. James Grace, deputy secretary for parks and forestry with the Pa. Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources.
