Two defendants were recently sentenced in Potter County Court after being arrested during separate probation checks in Roulette Township.

Rebecca Hadlock, 28, was arrested last April when a probation officer visited her residence in Roulette Township and found a hypodermic syringe and metal spoon containing a white powdery substance which later tested as oxycodone. Hadlock admitted owning the drug paraphernalia.

She was ordered by Leete to spend one year on probation, perform 25 hours of community service and attend Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings.

Constance Hults, 50, of Westfield was ordered to spend two years months on probation, pay a $150 fine, perform 25 hours of community service and pay restitution of $135 for simple assault.

She was arrested in January 2007 after causing an eye injury to a victim.

William Telek, 27, of Coudersport was ordered to spend 90 days to five years in jail and pay a fine of $1,600 on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Judge Leete also directed Telek to perform 25 hours of community service, attend DUI safe driving school, attend AA and NA meetings and appear before the DUI Victim Impact Panel.

He was arrested last May outside a Coudersport convenience store. Testing showed a blood alcohol content of .21 percent; the legal limit is .08 percent.
