Harlem Wizards coming to Austin

Tickets remain on sale for the March 31 appearance by the basketball comedy act, the Harlem Wizards, at Austin Area School. The 7 pm show is a benefit for the class of 2015 and the Austin Area PTO.

The Wizards, who hold a Guinness Book of World Records streak of 2,500-plus wins, will take on a local team made up of teachers, administrators, and local high school or college basketball players.

They're a nationally known basketball team consisting of retired players from the Harlem Globetrotters and former college basketball stars. They mix tricks shots and slam dunks with some serious basketball, with a lot of comedy mixed in.

Admission will be $8.00 for students and $10 for adults. Tickets can be purchased at Northwest Savings Banks outlets in Austin, Coudersport and Emporium; First National Bank in Coudersport and Port Allegany; Citizens Trust Company in Coudersport and Emporium; Jubilee Foods in Coudersport; Emporium Pharmacy, or by contacting the Austin Area School at 647- 8603 or mailing a check to the school at 138 Costello Ave, Austin, PA 16720.
