Stolen tools found

State police at Denton Hill recently recovered a collection of tools believed to be stolen from several Sweden Township residents.

Victims are asked to contact the barracks at Denton Hill and provide a description of the tools they are missing.

Charged after fleeing

A Mill Hall driver involved in a one-vehicle accident on Sunday on Loucks Mills Road in Ulysses Township faces multiple driving violations.

Logan Dorwart, 21, lost control of a car, which struck a snowbank and overturned. He fled the scene and was apprehended later by police.

Copper gutters pilfered

Investigation continues into the theft of 100 feet of copper gutters from an abandoned building on Commercial Street in the village of Genesee.

The gutters are worth about $500, and the building is owned by Adam Chapman of Wellsville.

Identity theft

An Ulysses woman was the victim of identity theft.

Janet Bowser told state police at Denton Hill that someone placed about $740 in unauthorized expenses on her debit card.

Camp vandalized

Police are searching for burglars who broke several windows at a camp in Genesee Township. The property is owned by Gerald Hart of Wellsville.

At this point, police do not think anything was taken.
